Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is located in Bordeaux’s Pessac-Léognan appellation and was founded in 1840. In 1987, the estate was acquired by the Gervoson family, who undertook a major revitalization. Renowned consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt joined the estate in 2015, elevating quality from vineyard to cellar and leaving a lasting impact.
The estate currently covers about 75 hectares of vineyards. Its white wines are primarily made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, aged for around 11 months in oak barrels. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes “infusing tradition with creativity.” In addition to oak barrels, the cellars also employ concrete eggs and terracotta amphorae, bringing together ancient and modern techniques. Through gentle micro-oxygenation, these vessels highlight purity of fruit and elegance, allowing the wines to retain structure and complexity while expressing freshness and balance.

Fresh and perfumed, the 2022 Blanc from Larrivet Haut-Brion exhibits aromas of white fruits, flowers, spring blossoms and confit citrus. Medium to full-bodied, charming and enrobing, it has a lively, vibrant and juicy core of fruit, delicate acidity and a long, mouthwatering finish. This blend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc and 14% Sémillon is a real success.
