One of the oldest estates in the Médoc, Domaine de Léoville was once owned by noble French families before passing to the Las Cases family. Following its division in the 19th century, Château Léoville Las Cases was established.
Today recognized as a Super Second of the 1855 classification, its Grand Vin comes from the historic heart of the original terroir dating back to the 17th century. Situated in the northern part of Saint-Julien, right next to Pauillac and separated from First Growth Château Latour by only a wall, it enjoys exceptional terroir. Managed by the Delon family since the late 19th century, the estate is now represented by Jean-Hubert Delon, also proprietor of Château Potensac and Château Nénin.

A star of the vintage, this classy, cedary, black currant, and sweet cherry-scented, dense ruby-colored Las Cases exhibits a beautiful dosage of new oak, medium body, expansive, ripe, concentrated flavors, plenty of glycerin, and exceptional purity. It is low in acidity, and already delicious.
