Domaine Xavier Monnot 前身叫 Domaine René Monnier,可以追溯到 18 世紀的 Meursault。Xavier Monnot 在 1994 年接手家族酒莊,並於 2005 年改名,以展現他尊重傳統又帶有現代視野的風格。
酒莊現時擁有大約 17 公頃葡萄園,分佈在 Meursault、Puligny-Montrachet、Volnay 同 Pommard,主要釀造 Chardonnay 與 Pinot Noir。Xavier 的種植理念著重可持續發展,盡量少干預,讓葡萄自然表達風土。
白酒用橡木桶發酵,紅酒視乎年份決定是否去梗,之後全部會在橡木桶陳釀 12 至 18 個月,令葡萄酒保持果香純淨、層次複雜,風土特色鮮明。
Les Chevalières 是 Meursault 北面一個知名的地塊,土壤淺薄,以石灰岩為主,排水良好。這裡的 Chardonnay 以優雅、礦物感及張力見稱,常帶有柑橘、牛油、雲呢拿和堅果的味道。酸度骨架穩固,年輕時已經不錯,亦富陳年潛力。

Domaine Xavier Monnot, originally known as Domaine René Monnier, has roots in Meursault dating back to the 18th century. Xavier Monnot took over in 1994 and renamed the estate in 2005 to reflect a modern vision rooted in tradition.
Covering about 17 hectares across Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, and Pommard, the domaine produces Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a philosophy of sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention. Whites are barrel-fermented, reds may be destemmed depending on the vintage, and all wines age 12–18 months in oak, yielding purity of fruit, complexity, and clear terroir expression.
Les Chevalières, a notable lieu-dit in northern Meursault with shallow limestone soils, produces Chardonnay marked by elegance, mineral tension, and refined citrus, butter, vanilla, and nut notes. With its firm acidity, the wine is approachable young yet capable of aging.

A perfumed bouquet of honeysuckle, white rose, and butterscotch weaves through ripe Meyer lemon and green pear, softened by creamy salted butter on the nose. The palate is powerful yet refined with citrus oils, white peach, and wildflowers. A lingering salinity and flinty edge add depth. Accessible now or cellar through 2030+.
