(James Suckling's rating: 93 points)
精緻優雅,果香與莓果結構鮮明。酒體飽滿絲滑,餘韻美妙可口。現在飲用已十分美味,但同時具備深度與結構。
Chateau d'Armailhac (nicknamed “Dan Gong” in Chinese) is located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux’s Médoc region and was founded in 1750. Formerly known as Mouton d’Armaihac, it was ranked as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification.
Since 1933, the estate has been wholly owned by the Baron Philippe Rothschild family, establishing an inseparable bond with Château Mouton Rothschild. Its extensive facilities also provide technical and agricultural support for both estates.
The vineyard of Château d’Armailhac is composed of three plots: Plateau des Levantines et de l’Obélisque, Plateau de Pibran, and Croupe de Béhere. After harvest, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats using gravity‑flow methods, and then aged in oak barrels — 1/3 new, 1/3 one year-old and 1/3 two-year-old.

Tasting Notes:
(Robert Parker's rating: 92 points)
Deep garnet in color, the 2010 D'Armailhac leaps from the glass with vivacious scents of baked raspberries, blueberry pie and kirsch plus hints of candied violets and pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has lovely energy with a lively backbone and well-played chewy tannins supporting the delicate flavors, finishing minerally.
(James Suckling's rating: 93 points)
Polished and very fine with pretty fruit and berry structure. Full and silky with a delicious finish. It's so good now to drink but has depth and structure.
