Vincent Dancer, originally from Alsace, returned to his mother’s village of Chassagne-Montrachet in 1996 to establish his own domaine. Spanning only about 5 hectares, the estate was a pioneer of organic viticulture in the village and the first to receive official organic certification. His low-intervention winemaking yields wines of notable purity, precision, and tension, earning the domaine cult status among collectors. The estate is now under the stewardship of his son, Théo.
Tête du Clos sits on the upper slopes above Clos Saint-Jean. Although officially classified under the Morgeot Premier Cru appellation, its cool microclimate and limestone soils set it apart from Morgeot's typically weighty profile. Instead, it delivers distinct minerality and crisp, vibrant acidity, making it one of Vincent Dancer’s most iconic Chassagne-Montrachet whites.

One of the highlights of the range is the 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tête du Clos, a deep and complete wine evocative of pear, citrus zest, white flowers and buttered pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's concentrated and structured, with terrific tension and mid-palate volume.
