Domaine Jacques Prieur, founded in 1868 and based in Meursault, is one of the few Burgundy estates with holdings across both Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, including numerous Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. Home to prestigious sites such as Chambertin, Musigny, Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne, the domaine is renowned for its meticulous hand-harvesting, strict fruit selection, and faithful expression of terroir under the direction of acclaimed winemaker Nadine Gublin.

Les Grèves overlooks the outskirts of Beaune and is planted on limestone-clay soils mixed with abundant small stones (grèves) and sand. The silica-rich sandy soils help retain heat and light, allowing the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness. Wines from this site are known for their refined texture and pure fruit character.

Medium red. Tight aromas of red berries and menthol. A step up in energy and cut from the Clos de la Féguine, with small dark berry flavors accented by subtle spices. The brisk finish features fine-grained tannins and a lingering note of licorice.
