Anselmi - Fruili, Italy Anselmi Giuseppe & Luigi who is the owner of Anselmi winery located in Friuli Latisana DOC near the coast of Udine province. The winery was founded in 1928 by the grandparents of Giuseppe & Luigi who is the current owner Anselmi family, they passed on their experience to their sons and grandchildren, by cultivating the land with a great sense of belonging. Champange Tarlant - Vallee de la Marne, Champagne, France Known as the sommelier's best kept secret, Champagne Tarlant has long been regarded as a purist in Champagne region and a pioneer in Zero Dosage Champagne which demand extremely high quality grapes. The Tarlant family set foot in Vallee de la Marne in 1687, after generations of know-how then became the star of Grower Champange (Recoltant Manipulant) in the town of Oeuilly. They always remind people of producing some of the finest, and puriest expression Champagnes especially with their nowadays very rare single vineyard range: Cuvee Louis which has been descibed as having the Krug-like complexity, intensity and thrill by famous English wine critic Hugh Johnson. Their La Vigne D'Antan and La Vigne D'Or which was made from 100% very old ungrafted Chardonnay

Castell D'Encus - Costers del Segre, Spain Raül Bobet, the former technical director of Torres, carefully selected an area in the Pyrenees, not far south of Andorra, as insurance against climate change. Castell D'Encus situated in Catalan Pyrenees Mountain from Costers del Segre. The elevation of the property (850-1000 meters), it has the excellent sun exposure and large wooded area around it, where vines were grew from this land by Ancient Cistercian monks 800 years ago. Grapes are crushed inside the natural rock and stone fermenters digged by the monks and then transferred solely by gravity. The whole process came natrually and try to be as simple and natural as possible. Its clay-loam and calcareous soil offers the ideal conditions for producing most profound wines. Owner Raul Bobet's belief in preserving the environment means they do not use any herbicide, insecticide or fungicide, except those permitted in organic agriculture in the vineyard. |

Ferrer Bobet - Priorat, Spain The winemakers of Ferrer Bobet are famed Ferrer Salet and Raül Bobet who used to work as a chief winemaker from Torres who made the world famous Mas La Plana. Ferrer and Raul have ventured through Priorat where this unforgivingly steep and rugged only the hermits and monks would cultivate this forbidden land. They finally haven't came back with empty hands. They have found some century old Carignan Vines, which cannot grow elsewhere but this place where Ferrer Bobet situated. The soils are rich of licorella which expressed a great structure, minerals complexity wine at the same time keeping a great finesse, class and harmony due to their unique artisanality. |

Matarromera - Ribera Del Duero, Spain Bodega Matarromera is a noble winery since the Olivares first settled in 16th century and has been appointed as a favoriate wine by the Majesty the King of Spain - Juan Calos. At the heart of Ribera del Duero, the winery was half buried within the slope of Duero valley. Matarromera tends to produced some of the most profound and exuberant Tempranillo in Spain, Moros family were selling grapes to the renowned Vega Sicilia since early 19th century and Carlos Moros decided to build his own winery. Tulloch - Hunter Valley, Australia One of the most well-known wine brand in Australia, one of oldest family winery at Hunter Valley since 1895, Hector Tulloch who made the first 'Polkobin Dry Red' in 1952, which Hunter is renowned for. Chateau Angelus One of the greatest estate in St-Emilion, Angelus had been promoted to Grand Cru Classe status since 1996. Planted on calcareous clay loam and clay sandy soil on the lower slopes. The vineyard enjoys great southern sun exposure. They has been applauded for great consistency even with difficult vintages. Generally with higher proportion of Cabernet Franc than Merlot. The style of Chateau Angelus is pure silk and velvet. It's rich, full bodied and concentrated wine, offering luscious, opulent, spicy dark fruit, licorice, spice and truffle that can ages well. It can be enjoy young but will definitely benefit and gain complexity with aging. |
